Most training doesn’t fail because of what it teaches. It fails because of how it’s taught.

Leadership models, negotiation frameworks, communication techniques: the theory is usually sound, and often the same from one trainer to the next. What changes everything is how it is presented, and whether trainees use it the next day at work.

Too often, staff are left to work out on their own how a model on a slide applies to the client in front of them. Most never do. Not because they weren’t paying attention, but because nobody asked them to try it on their own work while the trainer was still in the room.

Change how it is taught, and the same hours produce a different result. Trainees stop collecting theory and start using it. What they learned shows up in how they speak to clients and handle their tasks, not just in a certificate folder. That is the difference HR teams notice first, and it is exactly what the words above describe.

So when you choose a trainer, the real question isn’t only “Is it accredited?” It’s “Will my people use it?”

If that is the question you are asking, this page is for you, whether you train your own staff or arrange training for your clients.

Two ways to work with Julien.

For HR & L&D teams

You have training days to plan and requirements to meet, and you want your people to come back using what they learned. You deal with one person, the course length fits your schedule, and accreditation is arranged for you.

For training institutes

You need a trainer your corporate clients ask for again. Julien designs and delivers each course, adapts it to every client’s sector, and needs little supervision.

Here is how each course is built so your people use it.

The method

Three steps that make training stick.

  1. Step one

Relevant theory, through cases from your sector.

Models and frameworks are introduced through case studies chosen for your team’s industry, not generic slides.

  2. Step two

    Practice in the room.

Exercises let trainees get the hang of each model while Julien is there to guide and adjust.

  3. Step three

    Applied to their own work.

Before the session ends, each trainee applies the framework to a real problem from their own job.

Julien presenting to a group of trainees

Sessions are lively and interactive, and adjusted to the group’s level as they go. The aim is not more content; it is a different way of looking at everyday tasks.

Whoever you choose, these five questions will tell you more than any brochure.

How to judge a trainer

Five questions to ask any trainer.

  1. 1

Is the person you speak to the person who delivers?

Many providers assign whichever trainer is available.

With Julien, the person on the call is the person in the room.

  2. 2

Will the course be adapted to your sector?

Ask for examples from your industry.

Julien chooses cases for each client: tourism for tourism teams, negotiation scenarios for industrial ones.

  3. 3

Will trainees apply it to their own work during the session?

Or will they leave with slides and a certificate?

In Julien’s courses, every trainee applies the framework to their own job before leaving.

  4. 4

    Do previous clients book again?

It is the most honest signal there is.

Every training institute that has hired Julien has booked him again.

  5. 5

    Is accreditation handled for you?

So the training is accredited without extra admin.

Julien arranges it through partner institutes.

You don’t have to take the answers on trust.

Testimonials

Julien’s negotiation skills workshop was absolutely excellent for our team at Sulzer. He gave us clear, practical tools that we started using right away. His session was engaging, directly relevant to our daily work, and left everyone feeling genuinely confident heading into tough conversations. Highly recommended!

What really made your approach stand out is your capacity to be agile when the client needs evolve. You were able to quickly adapt to your audience and the different levels of expertise. In addition, you accompanied the group in the creation of real-life products and use of tools, which have been integrated in our daily operations.

Thank you for reaching out, I am very happy to provide you with feedback. The feedback from delegates was incredibly positive, they have taken away some very valuable skills, particularly in the area of client communication.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

His way of explaining combines simplicity and depth… What truly sets Julien apart is how he passes on knowledge: he doesn’t stop at explaining, he makes sure the trainee grasps the idea and applies it with confidence… It left a positive impact on the way I understand and apply skills.

I also wanted to thank you for the training you delivered today. We truly appreciated both the quality and relevance of the content, as well as your dynamism throughout the session.

In all honesty, we only wish we had had the opportunity to work with you from the very beginning. Thank you again for such a valuable and memorable experience!

Hi Julien

I thought it was going to be a usual presentation, but to my great surprise it was the opposite. You have the essence of some of my favorite teachers from when I was studying.

The presentation was really good. You combined personal experiences and life scenarios with customized examples related to our field, tourism.

I liked how you got us all engaged and gave us the chance to share our own examples too. I took screenshots of the questions to ask potential clients, as that’s one of my weaknesses.

Thank you once again—the training was very productive.

Having had the privilege of learning under Mr. Julien instruction, I can confidently attest to the exceptional quality of his training. His instructional methodology seamlessly connects core theoretical principles with practical field execution.

Beyond his technical expertise, Mr. Julien excels at cultivating a student centered, highly engaging environment that encourages critical thinking and builds professional confidence.

His structured approach and dedicated mentorship made a substantial, measurable impact on my professional development. I strongly recommend his programs to any professional seeking elevated, impactful training.

Mr. Julien is one of the best teachers I’ve had — his classes were enjoyable, interactive, and fun, yet he was always kind, respectful, and supportive. He created a positive atmosphere that made us comfortable and motivated to learn. One thing I still remember is a lesson he taught us using Bruce Lee’s quote: “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” It really stuck with me — the idea of focusing on one thing and actually mastering it, instead of spreading yourself thin trying to learn a bit of everything.

Mr. Julien is an exceptional instructor whose teaching style is engaging, supportive, and practical. He always encouraged me to participate, build confidence, and apply English in real life situations. Thanks to his guidance, I significantly improved my communication skills and gained confidence in using English professionally. I truly appreciate everything I learned from him.

Thank you, Mr. Julien, for filling our classes with laughter, inspiration, and growth.

French can be full of challenges — from complex grammar to tricky pronunciation — but your unique teaching style turned it into an enjoyable and rewarding journey.

Merci infiniment, Julien, pour votre patience, votre passion, et votre gentillesse. Vous avez vraiment fait la différence.

Two clients, two perspectives

Desert Gate TourismOne session, seen from HR and from the team

At Desert Gate Tourism, Business Development Executive Sttefany Anicama expected another standard session: “I thought it was going to be a usual presentation, but to my great surprise it was the opposite.” The training combined real-life scenarios with “customized examples related to our field, tourism”, and got the whole group sharing their own cases. Asking potential clients the right questions was a weak spot for her; she “took screenshots of the questions to ask potential clients.” Her HR Director, Isa Davenport, saw the same result from the other side: delegates “have taken away some very valuable skills, particularly in the area of client communication.”

Pharmascience · Online, CanadaAdapted on the fly, now part of daily work

Pharmascience’s team in Canada joined from their office meeting room for an online programme, a group with different levels of expertise. Training Coordinator Hue Duong described how Julien “connected really well with the group and adjusted on the fly, which made a big difference and had a meaningful impact on how the material was received.” The group didn’t just learn about tools: as QA Manager Élyse Champagne put it, they created “real-life products” and used tools “which have been integrated in our daily operations.” Hue Duong’s conclusion: “we only wish we had had the opportunity to work with you from the very beginning.”

Want results like these? It starts with a short conversation about your team.

Each of these started with the same first step: a short conversation about the team and what it needed. Here is what is included when you take that step.

What you get

Training that changes how your people work.

Your training days are already in the plan. This is how to make sure your people come back to work thinking differently about their tasks, and using what they learned, with the accreditation arranged for you.

Included in every course

  • A course built around your team’s real work. The models and case studies are chosen for your people after a conversation about your team and sector, so they recognise their own situations in every session.
  • Delivered by Julien, in English or Arabic. In person across Saudi Arabia, or online on request. The trainer you agreed on is the trainer who turns up.
  • The three-step method.Theory through cases, practice in the room, then application to each trainee’s own work, so they leave having already used it.
  • Sessions people want to be in.Lively, interactive and adapted on the fly, so people take part instead of waiting for the day to end.
  • Accreditation arranged for you.Through a partner institute Julien already works with, without a second provider to manage.
  • Length that fits your schedule.Recommended 3 to 6 hours of training per day: focused days your people can absorb.

Also included

  • Personal application plan. Each trainee leaves with a one-page plan: which framework they will use, on which real task, this week.
  • HR summary after the training.A short written summary of what was covered, the exercises and trainee feedback, so you can show management what the budget produced.
  • Follow-up check-in.A short online session about four weeks later, for the questions that come up back at work.

This is what turns training hours into something your organisation can see: staff who use what they learned, and a written summary that shows it.

How it works.

  1. Get your free course outline: tell us briefly about your team.
  2. Free needs call (20–30 minutes): your team, your sector, your goals.
  3. Tailored outline and proposal within 5 working days: free, no obligation.
  4. Accreditation arranged through a partner institute.
  5. Training delivered: in person across Saudi Arabia or online, in English or Arabic.

Julien working with trainees during a session

Behind every course is one person: the one who designs it and walks into the room.

About Julien.

Julien is a freelance corporate trainer working with training institutes across Saudi Arabia. He designs and delivers every course himself, in English or Arabic, in person or online, for teams in energy, transport, hospitality, tourism, industry, pharmaceuticals and beyond.

His approach is simple to state and harder to do: relevant theory, brought to application. Every course is built so trainees leave having already used what they learned on their own work.

He also says no. When a course isn’t the right fit for what he does best, he tells the client.

If you are weighing this up, these are the questions HR teams usually ask before booking.

Before you book

The honest answers.

“Every trainer says they’re practical. How do I know which one is actually good?”

It’s a fair question, and the one most HR teams struggle with, because brochures all sound the same. The most reliable signals are the ones a trainer can’t write about himself: what previous clients say, whether institutes book him again, and whether you can see how he would approach your team before you commit. All three are on this page, and the last one is free: a needs call and a tailored course outline for your own team.

“Wouldn’t a big training company be the safer choice?”

A large provider feels safer because it is bigger. What you are really buying, though, is the person in the room, and large providers know it: they bring Julien in to deliver their own courses. He works with an international training provider and with one of the largest training providers in Saudi Arabia, whose contracts include some of the country’s major organisations. So the real choice isn’t big company or independent trainer. It’s whether you know who will walk into the room. Here, the person you speak to designs your course and delivers it, from the first call to the HR summary afterwards. And every training institute that has hired Julien has booked him again.

“Will it fit our sector and our staff’s level?”

Nothing is designed before the needs call. The case studies and examples are chosen for your sector, and in the session itself Julien adjusts to the group, as the Pharmascience case above shows.

This is right for you if…

  • you are responsible for your organisation’s training plan and want the training days to change how people work, not just to be completed;
  • you want to know exactly who will train your team, and deal with one person from first call to follow-up;
  • your team works with clients, colleagues or partners, and needs to communicate, lead or negotiate better in real situations;
  • you run programmes at a training institute and need a trainer your corporate clients ask for again.

This is not for you if…

  • the only goal is the lowest price per training hour;
  • you want a self-paced video course rather than a live session;
  • you need a standard, off-the-shelf course delivered without any conversation about your team;
  • you are looking for training outside the topics listed above.

Frequently asked questions.

Is the training accredited?

Yes. Julien arranges accreditation through partner institutes he already works with, so you don’t need to coordinate a second provider: the partner institute issues a TVTC-accredited certificate to every trainee. On the needs call, we confirm the accreditation your organisation requires.

We mainly need to complete our training hours. Is this overkill?

The hours take the same time either way, and the work on your side stays light: one call, one contact, and Julien prepares the outline and arranges the accreditation. What changes is what your people bring back to work.

Why isn’t there a price on this page?

Because every course is built for the team in front of it: topic, length, language, group and format all change the scope. After a short needs call you receive a tailored outline and a clear proposal within 5 working days, free and with no obligation.

Another provider offers the same hours for less. Why choose this?

If the only goal is to complete the hours, a lower price may be the right call. If you want staff to come back using what they learned, compare what happens after the training: a personal application plan for each trainee, a written HR summary, and a follow-up check-in about four weeks later.

In which languages, and where?

In English or Arabic. In person at your location across Saudi Arabia, or online on request.

How long is a course?

It depends on your needs. We recommend 3 to 6 hours of training per day: beyond six hours, attention drops and the last hours stop producing results.

We are a training institute. Can we bring Julien in for our clients?

Yes. Julien regularly designs and delivers courses for training providers’ corporate clients, including for large providers in Saudi Arabia and internationally.

Who is this not for?

If the only goal is the cheapest way to fill training hours, or you are looking for self-paced online videos, this isn’t the right fit, and there are faster ways to do that.

Step up: training courses in English and Arabic

The simplest way to answer the rest is to see your course outline.

Your first step costs nothing

See your course before you commit.

Before you sign anything, you see exactly what your team would get.

  1. A free needs call (20–30 minutes). Your team, your sector, what you want to change.
  2. A free tailored course outline and proposal, built around your team’s real work and sent within 5 working days.

If it isn’t the right fit, you owe nothing. No fee, no obligation. And if, after the call, Julien doesn’t think he’s the right trainer for your team, he’ll tell you, and point you to what to look for instead.

Why it works this way: training only changes how people work when it fits the people in the room. Seeing the outline first lets you judge that for yourself, before any budget is committed.

The choice

The hours are fixed. What they produce isn’t.

Your training days are already in the plan. The question is whether your people come back to work thinking differently about their tasks and using what they learned, or whether the hours are simply completed.

Three months from now, one of two things is true.

The first

In the first, your team spent its training days on a course built around their own work. They came back with tools they used the next day: the questions to ask a client, a clearer way through a tough negotiation, frameworks that are now part of how the team operates. You have a one-page summary to show management what the budget produced, and the four-week check-in has already picked up the questions that came up back at work.

The second

In the second, the hours are complete and the certificates are filed. The training was “fine”. Nobody can quite say what changed. And next year’s plan starts the same way.

The training days, the salaries of everyone in the room and the time away from their work: you pay for all of it either way. The only part you choose is whether it produces anything.

The first step costs nothing: a short call and a tailored outline for your team. If it isn’t right, you owe nothing.

P.S.The first step is free: a 20–30 minute call and a course outline built for your team within 5 working days. If it isn’t the right fit, you owe nothing.

P.P.S.Not sure how to judge a trainer? Use the five questions on this page with any provider you are considering, including me. The right trainer will be glad you asked.

P.P.P.S.Running a training institute? Every institute that has hired me has booked me again. Let’s talk about your clients’ next course.
